Many people perceive my art as “young” and are surprised when they meet me with my close to 70 years. Maybe it's because I first took up visual art as a full-time occupation in a mature age. I want to remain in a lifelong development and education, and therefore I experiment almost constantly with new expressions and materials.
Despite the constant development of the expression, my works have a recognizability over time. My way of using colors flows like a genome into the new things that come into being. Certain motifs, patterns and texts also follow, even if the images change.
My pictures are stories in color. The key word is play!
