Mexico er malet på hørlærred og oser af kvalitet. Det florlette og æteriske udtryk er kendetegnende for min malerstil, - når det lykkes. Det gør det ikke altid, men det gør her. Du ser to personer, men så luftige og lette, at du knaptaner, hvor den ene slutter og den anden begynder. De finurlige fingre på mandens højre hånd er et andet karakteristika, som går igen på mange af mine malerier. Højformatet er udfyldt til randen og kræver ikke meget vægplads. Når jeg har kaldt maleriet Mexico, skyldes dentmandens hat, sombrero. Selv har jeg aldrig selv været i Mexico. Men jeg prøver at lære spansk ;)
