Kys mig! Sådan siger svinedrengen til prinsessen i H.C. Andersens eventyr. Det er prisen for hans herlige gryde. Og når den kogte, så ringede det så dejligt, mens den spillede den gamle melodi: “Ach, Du lieber Augustin Alles ist væk, væk, væk!” Men det allerkunstigste var dog, at når man holdt fingeren ind i dampen fra gryden, så kune man straks lugte hvad mad der blev lavet i hver skorsten i hele byen. Og den gryde måtte prinsessen eje. Og derfor måtte hun give efter for han: “Kys mig!” Og i mens stod alle hofdamerne vagt, for at ingen skulle se det. Nå, nok om H.C. Andersen. Når jeg kigger på dette maleri, bliver jeg især fascineret af svinedrengens hestemule. Der er ikke noget i verden så blødt som en hestemule.
